Carga tus baterías para The Hives, Delorentos, Vampire Weekend y Green Day hoy, Sábado!!!

BILBAO BBK LIVE REVIEW (FRIDAY)

This was the second day of Bilbao BBK Live 2013.

Spector with a very special moment with Chevy Thunder and Benjamin Biolay with special guest Carl Barat with a precious set got everything ready.

The Vaccines, later, at the main stage tried to present their last album. But an electrical storm got into scene and the performance was suspended.

Mark Lanegan Band on the third -"Live!"- stage and under the powerful showers now performed their setlist. He fitted one hundred percent a telepreacher role.

Kind of a shelter at indoor Carpa Vodafone Yu Fuel Fandango got such an audience perhaps not even themselves expected for.

Half an hour late on the schedules, when the rain stopped and let them go onstage, Klaxons got everyone giving their best with songs such as Echoes, Twin Flames, Atlantis to Interzone, Gravity's Rainbow, Future Memories, Golden Skans, Magick... in addition to some of their new album songs. The person in charge of the stage warned them they needed to end up just with a last song.

The reason was Kings of Leon were ready to start at the main -Bilbao- stage. The headliners played their greatest hits Radioactive, Closer, Sex On Fire, Use Somebody, Knocked up, Crawl, Molly's Chambers, Fans... before a crowed venue that deserved a panoramic photo.

Los Zigarros were a nice surprise of spanish rock at Carpa Vodafone Yu.

Then we went back to the main stage to PIL Public Image LTD's gig. Perhaps our expectances were too high perhaps the performance was too weak.

Standstill from Barcelone, 2ManyDjs, Birdy Nam Nam and other Djs closed the venue until tomorrow.

Charge your batteries for The Hives, Delorentos, Vampire Weekend and Green Day today, Saturday!!!

Editors presentaron su nuevo album The Weight Of Your Love (2013) con canciones como A Ton Of Love pero no olvidaron hits como Munich, An End Has a Start, Smokers outside The Hospital Doors, In This Lights and On This Evening o The Racing Rats.

Sus canciones más potentes - The Captain, Biblical, Sounds Like Balloons, God & Satan, A Girl And His Cat, Bubbles, Opposite, Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies, Many Of Horror, That Golden Rule y , como no, Black Chandelier, coreada por todos allí!!!.

El escenario principal fue cerrado por Two Door Cinema Club y sus What You Know, Undercover Martyn, Do You Want It All? y tantas canciones bailables que hicieron a la (todavía considerable) multitud allí saltar arriba y abajo hasta la muerte.

Preparados para hoy porque The Vaccines, Klaxons, Kings Of Leon, PIL (Public Image Ltd.) van a requerir toda vuestra energía!!!

BILBAO BBK LIVE 2013 REVIEW (THURSDAY)

This was the first day in Bilbao BBK Live 2013.

After Toy and Arcane Roots warmed up the stages Billy Talent exploded onto the festival's second stage and ending with their anthem Red Flag.

Editors presented their new album The Weight Of Your Love (2013) with songs like A Ton Of Love but didn't forget hits such as Munich, An End Has a Start, Smokers outside The Hospital Doors, In This Lights and On This Evening and The Racing Rats. They offered a very strong set that got to its climax and end with Papillon.

Meanwhile Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaries were playing at the third stage in most pure soul and funk big band.

On the forth stage L.A make the crowd enjoy their rock in pure state. The spanish band make clear the reason why they are being sucessfull in Spain and abroad.

Depeche Mode, back to the main stage, stated up with Welcome, Angel, Walking In My Shoes and Precious. They had to start Precious over again because of programming issues. But this issue was no problem for them and went on with Heaven, A Question of Time , Enjoy The Silence, Personal Jesus, Home, Just Can't Get Enough, I Feel You... in a neverending great setlist filled up with hits.

Then, Biffy Clyro said hello with Stingin' Belle to a growing audience. Their most powerfull songs - The Captain, Biblical, Sounds Like Balloons, God & Satan, A Girl And His Cat, Bubbles, Opposite, Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies, Many Of Horror, Black Chandelier, That Golden Rule and, of course, Black Chandelier, sung along by everyone there!!!.

The main stage was closed by Two Door Cinema Club and their What You Know, Undercover Martyn, Do You Want It All? and so many danceable songs that make the (still remaining) crowd there jump up and down to their death.

Delorean and the DJs were in charge of keeping the beat for the ones that would not find the way back home yet.

Get ready for tomorrow The Vaccines, Klaxons, Kings Of Leon, PIL (Public Image Ltd.) are going to require your best!!!
