BILBAO BBK LIVE 2013 REVIEW (THURSDAY)
This was the first day in Bilbao BBK Live 2013.
After Toy and Arcane Roots warmed up the stages Billy Talent exploded onto the festival's second stage and ending with their anthem Red Flag.
Editors presented their new album The Weight Of Your Love (2013) with songs like A Ton Of Love but didn't forget hits such as Munich, An End Has a Start, Smokers outside The Hospital Doors, In This Lights and On This Evening and The Racing Rats. They offered a very strong set that got to its climax and end with Papillon.
Meanwhile Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaries were playing at the third stage in most pure soul and funk big band.
On the forth stage L.A make the crowd enjoy their rock in pure state. The spanish band make clear the reason why they are being sucessfull in Spain and abroad.
Depeche Mode, back to the main stage, stated up with Welcome, Angel, Walking In My Shoes and Precious. They had to start Precious over again because of programming issues. But this issue was no problem for them and went on with Heaven, A Question of Time , Enjoy The Silence, Personal Jesus, Home, Just Can't Get Enough, I Feel You... in a neverending great setlist filled up with hits.
Then, Biffy Clyro said hello with Stingin' Belle to a growing audience. Their most powerfull songs - The Captain, Biblical, Sounds Like Balloons, God & Satan, A Girl And His Cat, Bubbles, Opposite, Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies, Many Of Horror, Black Chandelier, That Golden Rule and, of course, Black Chandelier, sung along by everyone there!!!.
The main stage was closed by Two Door Cinema Club and their What You Know, Undercover Martyn, Do You Want It All? and so many danceable songs that make the (still remaining) crowd there jump up and down to their death.
Delorean and the DJs were in charge of keeping the beat for the ones that would not find the way back home yet.
Get ready for tomorrow The Vaccines, Klaxons, Kings Of Leon, PIL (Public Image Ltd.) are going to require your best!!!
